Fleet Expansion for New Caledonia
Salmon NC have just been awarded a major contract to supply a fleet of equipment to the Vale owned Goro Nickel Mine in the South of New Caledonia.
In total there are an extra 16 machines heading to New Caledonia which comprises of 100t Trucks, 120t Excavators and a new 992K Loader as well as some Artic Trucks and smaller Excavators. The equipment was loaded onto the ship at Mackay and Brisbane before heading to New Caledonia and will be unloaded directly at the Goro site.
The total Heavy Earthmoving Fleet size has now expanded to 50 machines which are spread throughout the Island on various sites.
Salmon NC now have two workshops that are at Paita and Kone and they offer support to all the sites.
